Product DescriptionHDT - Heat deflection / distortion test, where a standard sized test specimen is subjected to a bending stress, whilst the temperature is raised at a uniform rate. The temperature at which the specified deflection occurs is measured and recorded. Testing is carried out in accordance with the ISO 75 (parts 1, 2 and 3) and ASTM D648 Test Standards.Each weight set consists of 14 indivdual weights ranging from 1g to 2000g.The Microprocessor built into each of Ray-Ran's HDT/Vicat machines, will determine the actual weights required for the loading stress that is selected by the user. A mini excel program is also included for comparision.
